Hi all.
I’ve gotten a few messages (thanks everybody) asking about my whereabouts. Well, I’m still here. I just finished my student teaching experience. Well, actually today is my last-last day. I have a few meetings to attend, and I have to hand in some papers and review my portfolio. But after that, oh yes, I am done.
I have a nice bottle of wine waiting for me when I get home, so i can celebrate the right way. Also, some other libations. But nothing that will keep me from my true celebration, which will be the triumphant return to writing.
Sure, I’ve been writing–essays, papers, lesson plans. And hey, I’ve been reading too–student papers, tests, articles. But I don’t think that counts.
Anyway, I have a nice long week to prepare for Christmas, which means baking, shopping, and the aforementioned libations. But I sure as heck will make time for my long lost love: writing. And hey, I might even find the time to post some pictures of the cookies I make, and I’ll definitely post some pictures of the Feast of the Seven Fishes.

I’ve been wondering where you been. It’s cool that you’re back.
I get to make cookies tomorrow. Usually, I make them from scratch but bought some read made cookie dough that is already cut into different shapes and comes with icing as well. It should be fun.
