Submissions #5 and #6

Both 5 and 6 went to Pedestal Magazine, which just reopened to submissions. They are only taking flash fiction (1000 words or less), and take no more than 3 at a time.

Since I had two flash pieces just waiting to go, I sent ’em out. One is “Memories,” and the other is “Breaking Out.” They are both slightly “experimental” in style and are hard to place. Hopefully Pedestal will like one of them.

  1. Best of luck to you on your submissions. I checked out Pedestal, and it looks like a great place to get published. They pay rather well too at 5 cents a word. Not that pay has anything to do with our drive. I was shocked that I was even getting paid by deathlings, and now I’m shopping around. Typical American, huh? What have you done for me lately?

    Thanks, Scott.

You’re right, getting paid isn’t what drives me to write, but it sure would be nice. Eh?
