I started working on my novel about 2 hours ago. Then I went to get a drink, and suddenly, I just don’t know what happened. Two hours–kaput!

What’s that about?

Since I already wasted a bunch of time installing a new mouse on my computer and brewing up some fresh coffee for iced-coffee, and any number of other time-killing endeavors, I figured I might as well update the ol’ blog.

I just received a 30-something day form rejection from Delirium Books

Yeah, another rejection. That’s okay though, I have some good news too. I was sent the September schedule for Every Day Fiction. You might remember that I had two Flash fiction stories accepted by them.

Well, the first one is due out in September, as you might have noticed on their front page, under “September Table of Contents.”

I hope everyone will take the time to give my story, “The Transformation,” a read when it comes out.

I’ll be sure to post a link to the story, but you can also sign up with Every Day Fiction for free and receive the stories in your inbox.

Okay. Back to work.

EDIT: Well, it’s another couple hours later. My production is nothing like it used to be, but I did manage to get some more work done. I’ve added another 1,800 words. Not great, but not bad either.

Okay, now I need food.
