Create Activity

Hello my lovelies.

Today I have a special treat for you in the guise of a guest post entitled Create Activity.  This post is all about creativity, having shotguns stuck in your mouth, and smashing in the teeth of self-doubt.  Oh yes.  It will surely be a bloody battle, but you will rein supreme!

It has been a while since we’ve had a chance to sit down, just you and I, and have a little chat.

How are you?  What have you been working on?  It seems our paths have diverged, and our attentions called elsewhere, because I can’t remember the last time we’ve had a good long chat about life, the universe and everything.  (Wink wink).

As far as I’m concerned, it seems time has turned in on itself, buckled and bent, warped and rippled.  I’m fairly certain two days ago I was 10 years old, walking on a bridge over the Belt Parkway to go fishing.  The day after that, I was 14, riding my bike along the wooded trails near my house.  Tomorrow no doubt I’ll be 82, observing the world from an inconspicuous bench in the park.

Where will you be tomorrow?

  1. At the rate my hair is turning gray, I’ll be 82 by the end of the day! :p

So, I’d better get on with your sage advice to “strangle that self doubt until it can’t breathe.” LOL I love that.

I’m still tinkering with my timey-wimey fantasy story and also restarting (for the 100th time!) my zombie story.

  2. Excellent guest post, Tony, and just what I needed to read. You da man.

Tomorrow? Who gives a crap. (Kidding.) I plan to be wrapping up the school year with only 6 MORE TEACHING DAYS to go.

    1. Thanks! I sometimes forget (being that I teach in college) that high school/middle school is still in session. You’re just wrapping up, and I’ll be just getting started with my summer class (July 2nd)!

  3. I love time’s wonderful circus ways and the sideshows she brings! Nothing more magnificent then puddles and puppies. Lemonade on a hot day whilst sitting in the shade with a good book or good friend. Nothing better than sharing a story or building one. Creativity and Douglas Adams also make for a great post, and thanks for all the fish!
