Audio Horror Stories are an Exquisite Death

Greetings, friends.  I hope everyone out there in reader-land is finding ways to stay cool during this God-awful heat wave.  For the past two decades, I have spent every single summer stewing in my own juices with no air conditioner to set me free from the heat.  I’d do all I could to stay cool: drink iced coffee, sit on top of fans (the wind-blowing kind I mean), taking cold showers every 20 minutes, and just generally being sluggish.

This summer, however, I have an air conditioner in my office.  I’ll still guzzle iced coffee , but now I can spend hours writing without becoming a listless lump of lava.  I call that a win-win.

There was one more way I’d take my mind off the heat:  reading.  Ah, yes.  Reading.  My favorite pastime, and I hope yours as well.  However, even the desire to read can sometimes be sapped away by the summer sun.  That’s why it brings me great pleasure to announce the release date and cover reveal for an audio book anthology entitled Exquisite Death.  Now you can simply listen to your horror this summer!

This magnificent collection will feature the work of Benjamin Kane Ethridge, Cate Gardner, Todd Keisling, Mercedes Yardley, and myself!  Now tell me that isn’t a killer lineup.

The anthology is being published by a new audio publisher called In Ear Entertainment, which is head by a great chap named Mark Chatterley.  The tentative release date for this twisted audio treat is Tuesday August 13th.

I will keep you updated as more information becomes available.  Until then, stay cool!

I can’t wait for this. And I jumped up and down when I saw all of the authors involved! To be friendly with everybody in it is just an AWESOME thing!
