Chuck Palahniuk Essays

Posted on: January 27th, 2006 by Anthony Rapino

For those interested in Chuck Palahniuk on an academic level, I have come across a PDF file of a journal dedicated to essays about his work. I haven’t read through it yet, but I am posting it here for anyone interested.

As most of you know I have recently been accepted to Devil’s Work, an online magazine catering to horror fans that want their weekly dose of fiction in their inbox. If you haven’t yet signed up (it’s free), do so now. You won’t be disappointed.

The link is on the side bar; click on Devil’s Work.

Other Fiction News:

I am still editing my short entitled “Retired,” about a young man who starts receiving applications from AARP and his refusal to believe it is all a mistake. Once finished editing, I will submit it–but I’m not sure where yet. Any suggestions?

I am also still working on “The Forever Box.” This is still being written, but is close to its birthing hour.

I am also considering applying to the HWA (Horror Writers Association) to become an affiliate member. I have been wanting to do this for a while now. I will update with info on this later.

Horror Site of the Week:

Dark Echo

Somehow I have managed to look over posting about this site thus far. They send out a great newsletter about everything in the horror field, including fiction market updates. They also have a blog. All of the features (subscription, [which is free], their blog, their site, etc.) is accessible through the main website. Use the link below:
