Well, I just received a rejection for this piece. I’m happy to report that it was a good rejection. The editor said that I have a nice dark tale, but it unfortunately doesn’t fit what they are looking for in terms of content (ie. dark fantasy and surrealism.
I have a good feeling about this one and I think it is a matter of finding the right home for it.
