Secret Transmissions From Moon Hill

Welcome September

September is like a particularly good collection of trailers before the main feature begins.

Last week I wrote about the many “hints of autumn” that have emerged through August, and those occurrences are only growing. It’s like how the Spirit Halloween Flagship store opened on August 22nd, but from that point forward, through September, all of the other pop-ups open their doors.

September is always a difficult time for me because as much as I want to eschew all responsibilities and dive headfirst into a pool filled with candy corn, my teacherly duties are just taking hold. Even so, I’ll make time for some fun activities, just as I hope you do.

For instance, the weekend of September 11th, I will be attending RetroCon in Oaks, PA. And on September 22, I will take the day off to celebrate the Autumnal Equinox.

What are your plans for September?

Newsletter Rebrand

As long-time subscribers may notice, my newsletter’s title has changed from “The Candy Corn Apocalypse Newsletter” to “Secret Transmissions From Moon Hill.”

The change in title, subtitle, banner, and newsletter structure are a coordinated effort (along with my recent attempts to grow the subscriber base) to transform the publication into something more representative of our shared interests.

Most recently, I have switched to a weekly schedule in anticipation of the release of my new novel at the end of October, at which time I’ll be switching back to a monthly release.

I hope subscribers, old and new, are enjoying the secret transmissions. Please consider subscribing to the newsletter if you haven’t already.

Stickers Have Arrived!

The stickers are here, and they look fantastic! Don’t forget, if you want these and the new bookmark, you can get them a couple different ways:

  3. Order a signed copy of Precipice of Nowhere from my online shop (coming this October 23rd, with preorders going live some time in October).
  4. Come see me at a signing or convention! Speaking of which…
