Both 5 and 6 went to Pedestal Magazine, which just reopened to submissions. They are only taking flash fiction (1000 words or less), and take no more than 3 at a time. Since I had two flash pieces just waiting to go, I sent ’em out. One is “Memories,” and the other is “Breaking Out.”

Ideomancer rejected my short story entitled, “Enduring at the Edge of the Storm.” They didn’t have anything good to say about it. It was “too traditional” for their mag and “took too long getting into the story.” Oh well. On to the next one. -oni

I sent an offering to the Surreal Botany Field Guide. Admittedly, I should have taken more time to revise the submission, but I decided to send it out right away. I may have signed my death warrant with that one.
