“Destination Unknown” Excerpt

Today for your reading pleasure, Nathan Shumate, of Arcane fame, has posted an excerpt of my short story,  “Destination Unknown.”  You can slip your hand back out from your pants.  I know my writing gets you all hot and bothered, but save it for later; you’re going to need it.

In a recent comprehensive review of the anthology, my story received a 3 out of 5 and the reviewer had this to say:

A tale revolving around Jackson playing his girlfriend’s “games” to prove his love. It was “okay”.  A “been there, read that” kind of story. But there was a good ‘eep!’ moment when Jackson opens the Challenger’s door.

I hope you enjoy.

No.1 rule to stay alive…don’t get out of the car! LOL. Nice excerpt.

  2. I enjoyed your tale (one of the few others in the anthology that I’ve actually read so far) — it had a very King-esque feel to it!
