Today for your reading pleasure, Nathan Shumate, of Arcane fame, has posted an excerpt of my short story, “Destination Unknown.” You can slip your hand back out from your pants. I know my writing gets you all hot and bothered, but save it for later; you’re going to need it.
In a recent comprehensive review of the anthology, my story received a 3 out of 5 and the reviewer had this to say:
A tale revolving around Jackson playing his girlfriend’s “games” to prove his love. It was “okay”. A “been there, read that” kind of story. But there was a good ‘eep!’ moment when Jackson opens the Challenger’s door.

I enjoyed your tale (one of the few others in the anthology that I’ve actually read so far) — it had a very King-esque feel to it!
