Loosely Enforced Rules

I’m proud to announce, after over two years of waiting, that Black Ink Horror #7–containing my story “Loosely Enforced Rules”–is now available.

I feel the need to issue a stern warning.  This story is not for the faint of heart.  It is, without a doubt, the darkest, most depraved, cynical, and graphic story I’ve ever written.  When I workshopped this story with my critique group, the members there felt portions bordered on pornography and kindly asked I never submit anything like it to the group again.  More disturbing still, they claimed, were the characters, none of whom seemed to have any redeeming qualities.

As if this were not bad enough, Black Ink Horror contains not only the story, but two full page illustrations for it (and every other story in the book).  I shiver to think which scenes they chose to illustrate.

If you’d like a brief glance at the darker side of my mind, where there are no boundaries and good people don’t always win, you now know where to look.

  1. Something that shows the true depravity of your mind…

Hmm, tempting as all get out, but I think I’ve already got a hint of just how deeply touched you can be ;P

Still to have crit partners begging off is something else. (Hugs)Indigo
