Rejection #12 7 Comments / August 3, 2006 17 day rejection from Pseudopod. Gee fellas, you don’t have to send all the rejections at once. Spread em out a bit. Yikes.

I said it before: the Terminator!
I wouldn’t mind having his shotgun now and again.
Although it doesn’t feel good (I know from personal experience), rejection, I believe is the Universe’s way of leading us in the direction we are supposed to go in.
Plus, did you know that most “successful” artists, authors, actors and actresses did not succeed the first time?
You have such an awesome attitude and I admire that you continue to put yourself out there!
Thanks to Bernita and Susan.
It certainly does sting sometimes, but as most who frequent the site know, I’m not one to complain (though I do like to make an occasional humorous remark to lighten the mood). 🙂
I always try to think about what King wrote in his writing book. It’s just part of the life.
Thanks again for the kind words.
I’ve been visiting your blog for a little while now, and always find it interesting. I’ve never left a comment before though. So let this be my first: Great Blog, Man!
I’ve read King’s book on writing too, and whenever I get a rejection I think about all of the ones he used to put on that hook. I also think of Carrie in the trash. Thank God for Mr’s King’s intervention.
Thanks a lot Steve. I took a look over at your blog and leeft a message there. Also added your site to my links.
