I just got word of this new market opening up for submissions. The four or five other people who submitted heard back from the editor in anywhere from 12 minutes to 7 hours. In all cases they received either an acceptance or rejection.
I submitted a piece about an hour ago and just received an e-mail stating that they would contact me with the next 2 weeks to let me know if I have been accepted or not. I’m hoping this means my work has been placed in a “hold pile,” but I’m not really sure.
