UPROOTED Contest Winner and News

The preorder window has officially closed and I’m proud to announce that there are only five copies of my horror chapbook left!  So if you are were on the fence about picking one up, don’t wait too long or those five copies might be gone by time you decide to take the plunge.

For those of you who have already preordered, I sent out the e-mail last night with the secret web address and password needed to access the bonus content.  If you didn’t receive the e-mail, first check your spam folder.  If it’s not there either, please e-mail me at horrorwritercontest (at) gmail (dot) com and tell me your e-mail address.  I’ll be sure to get the information to you.

The chapbooks are being sent out this week.  If you are one of the lucky seven recipients of the signed bookmark, it will arrive with your order.

And now, the winner of the UPROOTED Chapbook Contest:

Mary Rajotte!

Help me in congratulating Mary on the big win.  And hey, why not visit Mary at her website to congratulate her as well.  While you’re there, take a look at her work and show your support.

Here are the specifics of how the winner was chosen:  There were 13 entrants with a total of 26 entrees in the contest.  I plugged in the numbers 1 through 26 at random.org and hit “generate.”  All of the entrants were assigned numbers at random.  The generated number was 14, which was Mary’s.

Stay tuned for a review of one of Mary’s short stories, more posts of “Sunshine Says,” and news on some soon to be released horror stories.
