I just received word that I won the writers4writers monthly contest. I won my choice of $25 cash, or a $25 Amazon gift card. I chose the gift card so I wouldn’t be tempted on spending it on gas. Anyone interested in entering one of the site’s monthly contests need only sign up for free.

I say “some” news because it isn’t much. There was finally an update concerning the flash fiction contest I entered a while back. The judge stated that she was a little behind and has not forgotten about the contest. Yeah. That’s it. So, the waiting continues…

They have forums to find out about missing markets, new markets, etc. All the online stuff appears to be free, but if you want to subscribe to their e-mail newsletter, it’s 20 bucks a month.
